Reno, Nevada.  March 14, 2014. The Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office conducted and completed the autopsy of the body found in the backyard of a Spanish Springs home Wednesday.

“We provided the information to the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office identifying the body as that of Colleen Muhl, 56, who had been missing since mid-February,” said Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Ellen Clark. “The cause of death was a gunshot wound. Last Tuesday, March 4, we also completed the full autopsy of her husband, Gerald Muhl, 51, who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on March 3.”
