Reno, Nevada. June 2, 2014. Early voting for the upcoming primary election ends this Friday. There are 16 polling locations open throughout Washoe County for your convenience.

The Washoe County Registrar of Voters, Luanne Cutler, says thousands of early voters have already cast their ballot. “As of Sunday evening, more than 10,000 voters have taken advantage of early voting for this upcoming primary election. After Monday, there are only four more days left to cast your vote early.”

Remember, during the early voting period, you can vote at any of the scheduled sites but on Election Day, you must go to your assigned location. That location is on the back of your sample ballot or available online at All you have to do is put in your last name and date of birth and you’ll have access to all of your election information.

If registered voters have any questions about the sample ballot they received in the mail, they should contact the Washoe County Registrar of Voters Office at (775) 328-3670.

Also, Tuesday, June 3, at 5 p.m., is the deadline for the Registrar of Voters Office to receive your written absentee ballot request form.

The exact hours and locations of early voting sites are available on the Registrar of Voters website.
