Reno, Nevada. June 3, 2014. As part of ongoing pavement maintenance efforts by the Washoe County Community Services Department, area construction crews will soon embark on an ambitious $3.4 million resurfacing and rehabilitation program. About 28 miles of public roadways throughout the Truckee Meadows and Incline Village will be improved.
There will be significant construction activity this summer in the following areas:
- Cold Springs
- Spanish Springs
- Sun Valley
- Washoe Valley
- Mt. Rose Hwy, near Galena High School
- Incline Village, off Tumbleweed Circle & Fairview Blvd.
- Crews will also fully reconstruct more than 4 miles of Eastlake Blvd.
In these and many other areas, you will see our dedicated staff working to improve your roads during some of the warmest months of the year. Please show your appreciation for their efforts by using extra caution, respecting all construction signs and taking it slow.
