Washoe Golf hosts Bring your Kid to the Course Day this Sunday.

Reno, Nevada. July 22, 2014. Washoe Golf continues to support affordable family golf and the PGA’s Play Golf America initiative by offering 2-for-1 range buckets for all parents who bring their kids to practice with them during Bring your Kid to the Course Day on Sunday, July 27, 2014.

What:         Bring your Kid to the Course Day at Washoe Golf

When:        7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2014

Where:      Washoe Golf Course, 2601 Foley Way, Reno

Cost:          2-for-1 driving range buckets for all parents who bring their kids to practice with them

Washoe Golf is also offering a series of monthly Family Day Specials through September to help keep kids and families active in golf. 

The next Family Day is on Sunday, August 3, 2014. Golfers 17 and under play 18 holes free with a paying adult. For details, visit http://www.washoegolf.org/.

Washoe Golf Course is Reno’s oldest golf course. The “Shoe” is a par 72, 18-hole course offering a challenging round of golf with spectacular views of Reno and the Sierra. Golfers may reserve tee times in advance online at: http://www.washoegolf.org/ .

Facilities include driving range, PGA professionals, pro shop, Washoe Golf’s “Shoe Bar and Grill” which overlooks the course is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy some refreshment.
