Reno, Nevada. Sept. 19, 2014. Come experience the magic of the fall season as you walk along pumpkin-lined paths in the twilight! Now in its third year, the Great May Center Pumpkin Walk is becoming one of Reno’s hottest Halloween traditions for families. The event draws over one thousand visitors each year to see hundreds of hand-carved pumpkins glowing through the Museum and Arboretum. This year, the May Center will have 500 carved pumpkins on display along an extended path!

Kids are invited to wear costumes and trick-or-treat during the walk. Hot chocolate, cider, and other refreshments will be available for purchase at the end of the route. This event is stroller friendly and not-too-spooky. Sunset will be at 6:16 pm so families with young children, who may be scared of the dark, will want to come earlier in the evening. This event is mostly outdoors so please dress for the weather.
