Reno, Nevada. Oct. 23, 2014. Washoe County Regional Animal Services is hosting a free rabies vaccination and microchipping clinic for pets.

Free rabies vaccination and microchipping are available to all Washoe County pet owners.

WHAT: Free rabies vaccination and microchipping clinic hosted by Washoe County Regional Animal Services

WHEN: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 25.

WHERE: Sun Valley Neighborhood Center, 115 W Sixth Ave.

Washoe County Regional Animal Services will have their Mobile Command Center on-site along with their contract veterinarian and staff members to assist with rabies vaccinations and microchipping.

A grant provided by Maddie’s Fund has covered the costs associated with the rabies vaccinations and the microchips.  

“Animal Services is grateful for the unwavering support of Maddie’s Fund,” said Animal Services Supervisor Bobby Smith. “We appreciate their commitment to the welfare of our community as well as the animals that play such an important role in our lives.”
